Keep a short record of your MW4 setup so a display change or game update does not leave you guessing.
Record your setup
- Windows version and game launcher.
- MW4 build number and product-build identifier.
- Input device, display resolution, and scaling.
- Names of the weapon profiles you use.
Keep profiles readable
Name profiles by weapon group and retain the previous configuration before changing settings. Review the aimbot guide for the meaning of common controls and the ESP guide for overlay layout considerations.
After an update
Use the MW4 patch checklist and ask support to confirm compatibility. A saved profile does not establish that an older build works with a new game update.
